This Contest is now closed. All prizes have been awarded.
At the beginning of the year 2019, I took a Facebook poll to see if crocheters wanted a contest or giveaway this year. The winning poll vote was for a Crochet Large Amigurumi Contest. Some people asked if I could add some medium-sized crochet amigurumi, and I said yes.

Level of difficulty. 5. Size of the crochet item. 6. How many crochet items are completed. 7. Unique touches added to the crochet item or items. 8. If a parent/guardian allows their minor to participate in this contest, then I will consider their age as well. “Oh my goodness,Thank you so much . Wow I just dont know what to say. I am so happy.
Here are the pictures of her winnings that I posted before mailing:
What a day to shop for Marlene’s $100 prize winnings at Hobby Lobby!! I chose all of the yarn that I have used, or would love to use, from Hobby Lobby! So much fun picking yarn for Marlene!!
I have used “Ice Cream” yarn before for baby blankets, and I love it!! I chose enough yarn for a pink and a blue baby blanket with a white border for each. The white yarn that I chose for her has a sparkle to it and is absolutely gorgeous!! I have tons of crochet baby blanket patterns to choose from: Crochet Baby Blankets
Some of you may recognize the Yarn Bee Tender Touch yarn, this is the same yarn that I used for my “small” Siberian Husky Dogs: Crochet Siberian Husky Dog
this yarn would be good for crochet hats and/or scarves too!
I thought that the gorgeous blue yarn would be great for a shawl/poncho! My crochet super fine merino Butterfly Wings of Love Shawl would be perfect for this yarn!!
My favorite cotton yarn is “I Love This Cotton!” yarn. So, I had to include some in Marlene’s package. I chose the cotton yarn with sparkles!
You may recognize the “I Love This Yarn” Pinky toes colored yarn that I used for my Crochet Large Amigurumi Alpaca! I also included the fur colored yarn in “almond” and “soft pink” colors!
When I saw the Yarn Bee “Sugarwheel cotton sparkles,” I had to grab one for myself too…tee hee…I had fun crochet slipper socks in mind when I chose these yarns for Marlene!
This fun Hobby Lobby yarn package will be heading to Marlene in Canada soon!!

I am not sponsored by giftcards.com, Amazon, Mary Maxim, Etsy, Joann, Michaels, Petco, or Hobby Lobby. I am not responsible for lost e-cards or damaged/lost mail.
Leslie contacted me via my blog and said: “My package arrived today! I am so excited about everything in it! The first thing I saw was the Furls crochet hook. In honor of you sending it to me the first thing I will make with it is one of your patterns. I will use the blue safety eyes to make a siamese cat to look like my cat, Taz. My daughter suggested I make a ghost with the red eyes. The silver snowflakes will look good on some crocheted snowglobes I plan to make. I loved the tiny crochet bottle!! I will put it on a ribbon and hang it in my car. I will have a great time figuring out what to do with the fox buttons and the beads.
Along with the package, I got two other bonuses today. The Hobby Lobby gift card arrived and I got a notification for a $5 reward from Joann’s! So I am living high on the hog!
Thank you so much! I appreciate your thoughtfulness in rewarding your followers and all the great effort you put into all your patterns! May God bless you!”

If I have any remaining unclaimed prize packages, I just wanted to let everyone know that they will be packaged up along with some yarn and sent to a charity on 1Jan2020.
Current update:
I made up a gift crochet package for the above charity (I removed the name. You will see why in a moment), and it was received 17Jan20 according to the USPS tracking#. I used to advertise this charity site, but I decided to remove it because of this reason: I first emailed the person associated with the charity site months before the end of the year asking if they would be interested in receiving a package with crochet items in it that I had leftover from this contest. The person responded to my email immediately saying that they would love it. That is wonderful right? So, I mailed the package to them at the end of the year. The tracking said that they received the package, but I never heard anything from them after that. I sent them an email asking if they liked the package, and I still haven’t heard from them to this date 10Feb20. So, that is why I am removing their name. I guess nobody taught them any manners.
Where do you want us to submit the pictures for the large and medium Amigurumi contest? On Facebook or is there a place specifically on the blog?
